     Albert Lewis Klinger was born on 31 December 1938 in Hegins, Schuylkill Co., PA. He was the son of Harold Noah Klinger and Elsie Irene Artz. Albert Lewis Klinger was baptized on 9 March 1940 in Frieden Reformed Church, Hegins, Schuylkill Co., PA. He married Lois Delkanic on 3 July 1965. Albert Lewis Klinger died on 25 March 2009 in Catawissa, Columbia Co., PA, at age 70.

Obituary:
Albert L. Klinger Sr., 70, of Stonehouse Road, Catawissa, died early Wednesday morning at home. He had been battling health problems since January 2007.
Born in Hegins, Dec. 31, 1938, he was a son of the late Harold and Elsie Artz Klinger.
He graduated in the first class from Tri-Valley High School.
As a young man he worked in his family sawmill and part time for Schuylkill Soil Conservation. For more than 35 years, he worked for the former Agway, first in the Hegins Valley store as a feed driver, then he was transferred to the Bloomsburg Agway as a fuel truck driver, all the while farming as co-owner of Klinger’s Plants and Produce Farm, which he was working until the time of his death.
He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Millgrove, where he served on the consistory several times and was church custodian. He also was a member of Pennsylvania Vegetable Growers Association, was active in FFA as a young man, where he served as an officer, a member of the 400 Bushel Club, and went to market in Shenandoah, Mount Carmel, Lewisburg and Mahanoy City.
Albert enjoyed hunting and was a collector.
He is survived by his wife, the former Lois Delkanic, originally of Harveys Lake, and they had observed their 43rd anniversary on July 3, 2008. He also is survived by three sons, Albert L. Jr., Roy H., and Richard M. Klinger, all of Catawissa; a daughter, Barbara Cotner and her husband, Timothy, Bloomsburg; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Darrell Klinger and his wife, Gloria, Bryans Road, Md., Roger Klinger and his wife, Bonnie, Durango, Colo., and Earl Klinger and his wife, Betty, Hernando, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday morning from Grace United Church of Christ, Millgrove, with the Rev. Dwayne Nichols, his pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Allen R. Horne Funeral Home, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa. Contributions in his memory may be made to Grace United Church of Christ, 164 Picnic Grove Road, Catawissa, PA 17820.
