John Owings was born circa 1758 in Baltimore Co., MD. He was the son of Elizah Owings and Hannah Stinchcomb. John Owings married Afrey Foster on 12 April 1790 in Rowan Co., NC. John Owings died in May 1815. He is listed on Addison Owings' Book, Page #; 200, 201.
