Susanna signed her will with an X on 28 August 1872. Her executor was John J. Umholtz. The will was recorded 27 March 1876. Susanna Umholtz died on 3 March 1874 in Dauphin Co., PA, at age 69. She was buried after 3 March 1874 in St Peter's (Hoffman's) Church Cemetery in Lykens Township, Dauphin Co., PA, on Row 20: S. to N.
