FOREMAN CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT REPAIR: Served with the 1467th Engineering Maintenance Company in both the European Theater of Operations and the Asiatic Pacific Theater of Operations for 14 months. Supervised 29 enlisted men and civilians in a Depot repair shop. Performed major overhaul and repair of heavy construction equipment, such as bulldozers, shovels, road scrapers and trucks. Inspected equipment and determined type of repair or maintenance and made reports. Harvey Langdon Clark died on 16 June 1992 in St Francis/St. George Hospital, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH, at age 80. He was buried on 19 June 1992 in Glen Haven Cemetery, Harrison, Hamilton Co., OH.

Company E, Second Regiment, KY Infantry, U.S. Volunteers.

Company E, under the command of Captain Julian Kersey, was enrolled at Frankfort, KY on May 6, 1898. The unit traveled 28 miles by rail to Lexington, KY where they mustered into military sevice on May 20, by Captain Ballance, United States Army. Company E under other regimental units, traveled 275 miles by rail from Lexington on May 25, arriving at Camp George H. Thomas, Georgia, on May 26th. Company E traveled by rail from Camp George H. Thomas, Georgia on September 12 to Camp Hamilton, Lexington, KY, arriving September 13th. Troops were granted a 30 day regimental furlough, per General Order 130, dated September 18th. The unit was recalled to Camp Corbin, Lexington, KY on October 18, remaining there until the Second Regiment was mustered out of federal service on October 31, 1898.
