     Anna Cotterman was born circa 1871. She married John Keselring, son of Jonathan Keselring and Mary Margaret Klinger, on 9 July 1908.

     Flora Mildred Couey was born on 7 February 1874. She married James Richard Owings, son of William Holbert Owings (CW) and Nancy Jane Moore, on 9 December 1894 in Summerville, Chattooga Co., GA. Flora Mildred Couey died on 2 October 1956 at age 82. She is listed on Addison Owings' Book, Page #; 101, 102.

     Henry L. Couey was born on 24 May 1827. He married Emeline F. (?) circa 1847. Henry L. Couey died on 30 April 1883 in Gore, Chattooga Co., GA, at age 55. He was buried in Bethel Church Cemetery, Gore, Chattooga Co., GA.

     James A. Couey was born on 3 September 1858 in Gore, Chattooga Co., GA. He was the son of Henry L. Couey and Emeline F. (?). James A. Couey married Elizabeth (?) circa 1878 in Chattooga Co., GA. James A. Couey died on 2 April 1940 in Gore, Chattooga Co., GA, at age 81. He was buried in Bethel Church Cemetery, Gore, Chattooga Co., GA.

Uncle Jim Couey raised Amanda Owings and her half brother and sister, Joel and Jennifer Hopper after their mother, Sarah Ellen Couey Hopper, died. Uncle Jim had his back broken, but lived to be 82. He was burned to death clearing new ground on his farm.

Sarah Ellen Couey married Mathew Holbert Owings, son of Jonathan Kellett Owings and Hannah Amanda Holbert, on 20 March 1879 in Summerville, Chattooga Co., GA. 2nd wife and family. Sarah Ellen Couey married (?) Hopper circa 1885 in GA. Sarah Ellen Couey died on 2 May 1890 in Chattooga Co., GA, at age 34.

Sarah Ellen Couey was the second wife of Mathew Holbert Owings. His first wife was Martha Scott and they had one child, Madison. When Martha died Mathew married Sarah Ellen and they had a daughter, Amanda Emmaline Owings in 1880. Mathew died and Sarah Ellen married a Hopper. They had children, Jenifer, and Joel.

Sarah Ellen Couey had a brother, James Couey, who raised Amanda, Jennie (Jenifer) and Joel Hopper after Sarah Ellen Couey died. James Couey married Elizabeth (Lizzie), last name unknown. James Couey is buried in the Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Gore, GA.
